Step #1: Find the perfect gown!
Shop 24 hours a day, whenever is most convenient to you. Browse our collection of wedding dresses any time you like; no need to make an appointment with a snooty bridal shop. We suggest visiting the gown page often. We have seen in many cases, that the perfect gown for you will "jump" off the page. It will stand out more than any of the other gowns. So please, come back often and spend as much time as you like shopping for your wedding dress. As you browse each gown, try to imagine yourself wearing that style on your special day. Picture yourself walking down the isle. Can't deside if you want to wear white or ivory? Visit our FABRIC page and veiw our colors online. You can also order a sample card on that same page and have actual satin samples mailed out to you!
Step #2: Choose your size!
Traditional bridal shops have been known to suggest the wrong size for a bride. Why would they do this? A high percentage of their profit is made on tailoring. Suggesting a size or two larger than actually needed will make them extra profit in tailoring costs. Not so with online ordering! View the size chart and choose the best size for you. While tailoring is usually necessary for a perfect fit, choosing your size based on comparing measurements to the size chart will minimize the amount of tailoring needed. Thus saving you money. Our staff is always available to assist you as well. Just EMAIL US your measurements (bust, waist and hip) along with the style you are interested in, and we would be happy to assist you in choosing the best size possible. Or you can compare your measurements to our SIZE CHART.
Getting correct measurements is a very important aspect of purchasing a wedding dress, whether online or at a traditional bridal shop. The bust measurement should be taken at the fullest part of your bust, while wearing a bra. The waist measurement is the most commonly taken wrong. The waist measurement is taken at the smallest part of your middle, about 1" above your belly button. Taking this measurement any lower will result in a larger measurement, and you might choose the wrong size because of this. Please take your time to ensure you get this measurement correct. The hip measurement is not as critical for most of our gowns. If you are purchasing a fitted gown, like the Sadie or Chloe, please make sure you carefully take the hip measurement. It should be taken at the fullest part of your hips (right over your bum).

How can sell your wedding dresses at such incredible prices?
We are able to sell at 50-80% off the normal retail pricing because we buy hundreds of gowns at one time, and because we sell directly to our brides as the manufacturer. The traditional marketing model for wedding dresses typically increases the price you pay for your wedding dress about 300% over the Zinnia approach. Zinnia produces high quality wedding dresses in our own factories, to our strict design standards. We then inspect, stock, and sell these lovely wedding dresses to the public at about 1/3 of the normal retail sales price. Very simple and very efficient. Your Local Bridal Boutique has much higher costs in order to bring a gown to market. First, they must find the advertised bridal companies that produce high quality wedding dresses. Marketing costs for these giants are unbelievable! That is factored into the final price charged to the bridal shop. The Bridal Boutique then has to bring in dozens of full price wedding dresses samples to stock in their shop. More cost. These samples are often damaged by brides trying them on multiple times, and just the normal wear and tear of the gown being hung in the bridal shop. These high cost samples need to be replaced every 6 months with the newest styles. This equals more cost as well. Finally, your local bridal shop must pay for their bridal shop, utilities, insurance, employees, commissions, and finally have something left over for themselves. The result adding up to even more cost. All of these fair and reasonable costs add up! I am sure you can see that, in order to provide you with this type of service, your wedding dress is often going to cost as much as 300% higher buying than buying your wedding gown from Zinnia!
I thought you said you had over 2,000 gowns in stock. I don't see that many.
To be fair, when we say we have over 2,000 gowns in stock, this does not mean we offer 2,000 different styles. When you consider sizes 4-28, in white, ivory, and light gold satin (not to mention the bridesmaids in multiple colors), it is amazing how quickly the numbers add up. We believe it is important to be the best at what we do. So that is why our line is limited to less than 100 styles in total, most of which are stocked and ready to be shipped in size 4-28.
Can I print out pictures of your wedding dresses?
Yes. You will have to print out the whole page that the dress is featured on by clicking File (at the top left corner of your Internet browser), then click the Print or Print Preview button.
Can I order a printed catalogue?
Our web site is our current “online” version of a printed catalog. In order for us to provide the best bridal prices, and to always show actively what we have in stock, we no longer produce a printed catalog. Printed catalogs cost tens of thousands of dollars to produce. Guess who really ends up paying that cost? You guessed it – the bride-to-be. Even if we only save you £10 per dress by not having a printed catalogue, we would rather use the Internet, an immediate way to view our current styles, to market our wedding dresses.
Can I get a fabric sample?
YES. We do sell color charts of our fabrics, to help you in making decisions and to help you select the appropriate bridesmaid color. We do refund the cost of these samples if you end up purchasing from us. Please CLICK HERE to order a fabric sample.
What is your return policy?
We have a less than 3% return rate. That means that out of every 30 customers, only one bride decides to return her gown. Often times, the bride who does return her gown, does so because she didn't use our suggested tips above (such as getting measured, or taking time to choose the best style for her).
We have a 5-day return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your wedding dress purchase (or bridesmaid gown), you can return it for a refund of the dress price, less 15%. If you just want a different size or style, you can exchange it without being charged the 15% restocking fee! Shipping charges, undergarments, custom ordered, all accessories, custom dyed and personal items are non-refundable. Need to return or exchange your gown? Click Here for instructions.
